- Emmaus is a local charity affiliated to an international organisation which has a proven track record in helping homeless people move from the streets and into stable home and work. Emmaus creates communities for previously homeless people. It's a place to live and it's a job - refurbishing and selling unwanted goods, a business, which, in time, allows the community to become self-supporting.
