Bridging the GAP provides a supportive and community based service to enable
unemployed people to prepare themselves for work and develop skills relevant to
the needs of local employers. At the same time BtG staff, alongside partner
organisations, work with local employers to persuade them to fill vacancies with
people who are long term unemployed, usually in excess of 18 months unemployed.
